My Favorite Beetroot Espresso Latte Recipe
Today I’m so excited to share with you one of my new favorite recipes - my Beetroot Espresso Latte recipe! It is the perfect afternoon drink to give you a little energy to get through the rest of the day along with some amazing health benefits.
Start out by adding a milk of your choice to a small pot. I use Califia Farms’ Dairy Free Toasted Coconut Almond Milk Blend, which you can find linked below, but I also recommend using your favorite Oat Milk.
Then add one scoop of Beet Root Powder. I recommend the KOS Organic Beet Root Powder, which you can also find linked below. Beetroot is actually a superfood for hair, skin, nails, and the brain so this powder is an amazing way to add it to your diet. Just a few benefits of this powder are that it’s a great source of plant protein, reduces cellular stress, is a proven anti-inflammation agent, and can aid in supporting healthy blood pressure levels.
To add a little sweetness I add a touch of Date Lady Smoked Maple Syrup. The only ingredients in this maple syrup are organic dates and organic applewood smoked maple syrup. So it’s is free of corn syrup, gluten, dairy, MSG, soy, liquid smoke, and cane sugar.
Next mix and place on the stove on low to medium heat. While heating up the mixture stir it to get all of the chunks of powder out. After taking it off the stove add your espresso. The mixture of espresso and beetroot creates a very earthy and delicious taste and beautiful color.
And just like that you’re finished! You can enjoy this recipe hot or cold, but I’ve been enjoying it hot as we’re heading into fall. If you try out this recipe I’d love to hear what you think in the comments below!
